Community Meeting

followed by Extraordinary General Meeting

Tuesday 17^th April, 8.00pm

Lunnasting Public Hall is a fantastic community facility for the people of Vidlin and beyond. It is one of the very best in Shetland.

In the past year alone, hundreds of folk have enjoyed events in the hall, including Delting Up Helly Aa, the Simmer Dim Rally, social nights, weddings, birthday parties, concerts and meals. In addition there are the regular events, including sports practices, youth club, the Under-5s and the Sunday Market and Teas.

But the hall doesn’t run itself. All of this is possible because members of the community have volunteered a bit of time to help out. And right now, more help is needed.

The hall committee urgently needs new members and new office bearers. It urgently needs more people to offer a little of their time. Without this, the hall may have to close.
